Faith Story – Heart to Heart Room 103

What is your family story? This session will help you begin to understand and actually be able to write out your story in preparation for being a witness to others about the great blessings of being in the family of Jesus Christ. This will prepare you for actually writing faith stories to be shared with the congregation. Parents please join your confirmand.

February 7th – March 14th

Faith Stepping Stones – Stone 7 Confessing Your Faith Room 103

Mrs. Judy Duffala

Develop a personal statement of your faith. What do you believe? Why do you believe it? An opportunity to express how God in His grace has touched your life. This session will finalize your faith statement in preparation for the next step in a lif e of Discipleship and faith in Jesus. Parents are invited and encouraged to be part of this process.

March 21st – April 18th

Faith Stepping Stones – Stoles Room 103

Mrs. Judy Duffala

This will complete your Faith Stepping Stones work as you prepare a personalized stole to wear on Confirmation Sunday. This will be a great reminder of this step of your discipleship in confirmation. Parents please participate...there is a spot on the stole for you alone!

Sharing the Faith Mr. Paul Wendt Room 103

As you prepare for new relationships in High School, how will you continue your faith life in a new environment? These sessions will help you prepare for this next step. High school youth will share some of their experiences to help you in your preparations. Parents, please attend the Adult Bible Study of your choice.

Living Wet (Baptism – part 2) Room 104

How do we live out our baptism in daily life? How have others before us lived out their life of faith? This session will focus on making baptism a real part of our daily life in Christ. Parents, please attend the Adult Bible Study of your choice.

February 14th – March 21st

With All the Company of Heaven (Lord’s Supper – part 2)

How does the Lord’s Supper impact our connections with our earthly family as well as all the company of heaven? This session will focus on applying the Lord’s Supper and celebrating it’s impact in connecting us as a family of believers in Jesus who cherish gathering at His table. Parents, please attend the Adult Bible Study of your choice.

Father, Forgive Them (Confession – part 2) Room 104

What does it mean to forgive as God has forgiven all? How do we do this in our daily living? This session will focus on applying forgiveness in our relationships and in living out our faith by practicing what we preach about forgiveness from God so that we may forgive each other. Parents, please attend the Adult Bible Study of your choice.

Is creation really true? "Jesus died for me." – What does that mean for my daily life? Just Who is the Holy Spirit? What has God done for each of us and what’s that mean? Explore our common confession of faith. God shows His grace in amazing and astounding ways. Link what we believe to daily living. Parents, please join your confirmand.

Does God really mean it when He says, "You shall....." and "You shall not....."? Do the 10 commandments really provide for us and protect us? Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers..." How can I follow Jesus and be one who brings peace and keeps the peace with others and in my home? For 5th graders or those in first year of confirmation instruction! Parents, please join your confirmand.
