Special Congregational Meeting:
There will be a special congregational meeting Monday, February 23, at 7:30 p.m. to provide direction for the call committee. The meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall.
Progressive Dinner: The Progressive Dinner scheduled for February 28 has been postponed to a later date.

50-50 Challenge Update: Through February 9, 2015, we have had 57 responses netting these results:
Twenty-eight (28) One Time Gifts totaling $11,043. These gifts will be matched at 50% by each of the matching donors.
Fifteen (15) individuals or families have indicated they will increase their giving. The amount of the increase will be matched at 100%
Six (6) individuals or families have signed up for Simply Giving. The entire offering for the year from these gifts will be matched at 25% by each of our matching donors.
Eight (8) individuals or families have indicated they will continually to faithfully support the ministry here at Trinity.
You can participate at any time during the year. Ask for a form in the Atrium or contact Susan Magruder during the week at the Church. Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow!
We have what you are looking for. Trinity Wheels will be providing transportation to
church for Lenten Services. We also supply transportation to church and doctor
appointments through the year. If you do not have transportation please call the church
office at 663-1578. For the present time transportation is for our Trinity family.
Servant Leader Journey: Stewardship of Faith
Beginning Sunday, March 1st at 9:30 a.m. in room 102 there will be an opportunity to grow as a Christ-Like Servant Leader. We are offering an eight session Bible study focused on growing in the practices of the Christian faith:
Embracing Sabbath Living, Learning & Living Scripture, Praying Unceasingly,
Witnessing Willingly, and Serving Others:
The goal is growth in servant leadership – connecting more deeply with Jesus – rather than training for a specific leadership role.
Greg and Ryan Forsythe are team-teaching this course. The course will meet in room 102. Weeks 2 through 8 ask you to read 5 short Bible verses and react to them in preparation for the session that week. [Think 20-30 minutes/week.]

Custodial Help Wanted:Trinity Lutheran is in need of a part time/evening custodian.
The hours are 6:00 pm-10:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Must be a very reliable, conscientious
and independent worker. This is a 12 month position with slightly fewer hours during the
summer months. Applications are on the desk in the atrium and must be returned to
Susan Magruder by Monday, March 9th.

The members of Grace Lutheran Church in Dyer, Indiana are hosting a Spaghetti Benefit Dinner at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Steger, Illinois on March 8, 2015, from Noon to 4pm. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-8. Tickets may be purchased in advance by contacting the office at Grace at (219) 865-1137. Contributions may be made payable to Grace Lutheran Church, noting “Gillespie Benefit” on the memo line of the check. This benefit dinner is to help Pastor Gillespie defray the medical costs incurred by four of his children that have Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. Thank you for all of your help.

LWML Prayer Service: Trinity – Hobart is hosting “God-Given Hats: A Vocational Prayer service” On Saturday, March 14th. Breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m. with the service at 10:00 a.m.. You are encouraged to wear a hat!
Attention 4th Grade Parents: There will be a special meeting for you and your 4th
grade student on Sunday, March 8, to discuss a possible new format for 5th grade
confirmation next year. We are going to offer an option of family groups doing some of
the work in their homes with periodic contact with the Pastors. The meeting will be held
in the gym approximately 9:30 a.m. Please contact Les and Brooke Nack, Ryan and

be Sunday, March 8, at 9:30 a.m. in the gym.

Library Helpers Needed:We have lost several of our volunteers to moves and job changes, and are in need of some replacements. If you know your ABCs and are available on Wednesday once a month or more, you may be just the one we are looking for! There are basically two parts to the day, and you may do either or both. From 8:30 - 11:00 we are checking in and shelving returned books. From 10:00 - 2:00 we help students find their new books and check out.

Cabin Fever Family Fun Night: will be on Sunday, February 22nd from
4-7pm. There will be games; food and drinks and some more games. The cost is ZERO
dollars. The event is provided by the Board of Youth and Stewardship Team. This is a
Stewardship of Family event!! There's one catch...you HAVE GOT to RSVP by February
16th. There will be a flyer in the February newsletter and you'll find one in the bulletin
next week. You can RSVP on the bottom of the flyer and place it in a box outside of the
contemporary and traditional services. The only way to provide the proper amount of
food and games is if we know who's coming. This is a family event...young
families...medium old families and young at heart families are welcome. Don't forget to
